Dear FPC Family,

As you know, the desire of our church body is to become a transforming community of grace that worships and relates authentically, as we do all that we can to foster an environment where faith, hope and love can grow, so that we can know Christ and make him known to others. In order to make this vision that God has called us to a more effective reality, we believe that one very necessary step that we need to take as a congregation, is the expansion of our present facilities.

As many of you have come to realize, we have long outgrown our present educational space for both children and adult ministries and we desperately need additional restrooms, space for our rapidly growing AWANA and youth programs, as well as space for large fellowship gatherings and events.

I am confident that our Forward in Faith campaign will increase our impact for the gospel of Christ in our community, and its success will enable us to more effectively nurture and care for our congregation and expand our ministries to children, youth and adults. This endeavor will require us all to look Forward in Faith in utter dependence on Jesus Christ, and it will require both a great deal of courage and sacrifice as we will each be challenged to give sacrificially over and above our current giving for the next three years. Of course God will not call us all to give equal gifts, but we will all be called to equally sacrifice. This ambitious goal will not be reached without much prayer and obedience to God’s leading.

Please examine this brochure carefully. With a heart of faith and expectation, I ask you to prayerfully consider your part in this campaign. What is given is a personal decision between individuals and God. What is accomplished, we trust, will benefit many and bring glory to our heavenly Father. May He bless you and keep you, and may His name be glorified as we move Forward in Faith together.
