Dear Church Family,

I believe that God is providing us with a defining moment in our church’s life through our “Together Toward Tomorrow” program. We are a church with a legacy of faith and obedience to the Lord. Now God gives our generation the opportunity to make an impact on the world and the generation to come.

As we focus on this capital stewardship program, I want you to reflect on God’s blessings in your life and upon your church. Certainly we cannot help but be grateful to the One who “gives the increase.”

I am confident that our “Together Toward Tomorrow” campaign will open doors for ministry that we have never before dreamed of at First Baptist. I believe this is our defining moment for our generation. This is our Kadesh-barnea (Numbers 13 & 14) – our time to enter into the “promised land.” We are a significant church at a significant time.

With great significance, comes great responsibility. We are now challenged to give sacrificially, over and above our tithe, for three years. This program requires diligent prayer and obedience to God’s leading. I genuinely believe that the people of First Baptist are ready for this challenge. Let us boldly enter into this endeavor with faith and courage as we attempt great things for God.
