Touching Hearts Changing Lives
"Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen." Ephesians 3:20-21

It was more than six years ago that the Church first launched a renovations committee that worked through some tough issues and came to realize that we needed a Family Life Center. The committee devoted many hours to the task, developed a plan, and formally presented its findings to the congregation last fall. God burned a great vision in our hearts that resulted in overwhelming support by the congregation in the decision to move forward. Our campaign, Touching Hearts, Changing Lives, puts our dream into action.

Today, we are experiencing what God can do through a people willing to do whatever it takes. While our challenges are real, God is bigger and pours out his blessings to those who step out in faith in His name. Our campaign, Touching Hearts, Changing Lives, is perhaps the largest leap of faith that Culpeper Baptist Church has taken in many years.

Touching Hearts, Changing Lives is much more than a campaign to raise money for a building. Our campaign represents the opportunity for spiritual renewal for our congregation and for members to put Christ first in their lives. The campaign is a unifying experience that brings together members and visitors from both services and from all age groups toward a common goal of furthering God’s kingdom. I am absolutely confident that Touching Hearts, Changing Lives will open new doors of opportunity for Culpeper Baptist Church. With the success of this campaign, the vision of this church will be expanded, the ministry will be broadened and many precious lives will be touched for Christ.

We are now challenged to give sacrificially, over and above our current giving, during the next three years. This giving requires continuous prayer and obedience to God’s leading. The information in this brochure, as well as information shared during vision gathering meetings, will give you a foundation to determine what God would want your family to contribute.

These are exciting times for Culpeper Baptist Church and it is truly a thrill to be serving as your pastor. May God help each of us to seek and to commit to His will.
